Our Administration

  • Nina Orr, Director

Nina joined Shir Ami in 2018, initially working in Kindergarten and later as the Resource Teacher, supporting students’ academic and emotional growth. She holds a Bachelor's in English Literature from Widener University and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Wilmington University. Before Shir Ami, Nina worked as a special education teacher in Delaware for 8 years. Nina lives in Bucks County with her husband Ryan and their two daughters, Sara and Leah, both Shir Ami ELC graduates. She’s excited to continue fostering growth and community within the ELC.

  • Cheryl Primola, Administrator

Cheryl joined Shir Ami in 2018 and has since been an integral part of our administrative team. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Community and Family Services, Cheryl spent 15 years working in the corporate world before taking time off to raise her children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their four-legged family members.

  • Alycia Kaufman-Wright, Family Engagement Coordinator & Camp Director

Alycia has experience as a Camp Director with the YMCA and as a Base Program Leader for the Methacton School District, where she led theater programs and after-school clubs. Alycia is passionate about creating a strong sense of community at Shir Ami and looks forward to building lasting connections with families. In her free time, Alycia enjoys volunteering, reading, and spending time at the beach.

Shir Ami Leadership

The Early Learning Center is supported by the greater Shir Ami leadership team and Board of Directors. Brent Osborne, our Executive Director, oversees the ELC with the support of our synagogue’s three clergy members: Rabbi Charles Briskin, Cantor Julie Berlin, and Rabbi Eric Goldberg. Together, they work to ensure a nurturing environment where children thrive, and families feel connected to a vibrant, inclusive community.
